Recently there were two great pieces of investment research published that are well worth your time to site down and read. Both of these pieces provide great historical data on major asset class returns, country returns, valuation, etc…

First, is the Credit Suisse Global Investment Returns Yearbook 2012 (thanks to Absolute Returns for the link). This is at the top of my list of reads every year. In this year’s edition there a  few great pieces of research on inflation, currencies, and risk appetite.

Second, is the JP Morgan Guide to Markets for 2012. I love the online format of this piece, the included audio and the slide presentation format. This piece includes a lot of valuation data and a lot if information on dividend yields. It also has a great section on economic indicators.

Grab a cup of coffee, sit back, and enjoy!
